When William F. Butler returned from World War II, he married his sweetheart Delores and launched W. F. Butler Plumbing, Inc. from the basement of their Sprague Street home. In 1970, they purchased the former Bach Grocery Store and moved to their current location at 2602 Monroe Street.
Today, W.F. Butler Plumbing, Inc. is still locally owned and operated, with the fourth generation of the family joining the front office in 2024.
